The TC553/852 is an intelligent 128x64 LCD controller with integrated touch screen control that provides the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for connecting Kyocera Display (former Optrex) F-51553 and F-51852 Series 128x64 COG Monochrome STN Graphic LCD displays with the target development board. This controller allows user to individually control each display pixel. This independent pixel control allows displaying both text and pictures simultaneously. The TC553/852 uses an ATMEGA16 microcontroller and external AT24C512 serial EEPROM. The controller can be used as a development board and reprogrammed via AVRISP device or OEM. This board requires a single 5 VDC supply to be plugged into J5 connector (bypass voltage regulator) or 7-15 VDC power supply to be plugged into J11 connector.
